Proprietors Linda and Chef Joe Andes are Hackettstown locals who wanted to open a local restaurant with quality food and a warm casual atmosphere. On September 18, 2006 the paint dried and Prickly Pear Restaurant was opened. Chef Joe Andes put together a menu of European, Asian, French, and Italian all with an American twist. With 25 years of experience under his belt, Chef Joe Andes has had plenty of time to perfect his dishes.
