Ooh La La Lamour and Amish Family Recipes with our Q & A!
Ooh La La Lamour - Candace Lamour, Owner
MSM - How long have you been in business?
OLLL - I have been in Business since Fall of 2011. But made products for myself and family before selling to the Public. Have a Hospitality/Culinary Background, which gives inspiration to my Yummy blends of Body products.
MSM - What made you start your business / why is it your passion?
OLLL - I am a Breast Cancer Survivor since 2007. I went All Natural & Organic with Food and knew that to completely be healthy, I needed to use the same on my skin as I put into my body. It became a Passion of mine to ensure that my children as well family was using Honest to Goodness 100% Pure Natural & Organic Products. Everyone Loved them so much I decided to offer them to others.
MSM - Do you have family that works / supports you in your business?
OLLL - My Husband backs me as well does my extended family, as Ooh La La Lamour grows I already have offers for other family members to join the team for Vending as well production. To help sell Wholesale to Shops, Spas & Salons.
MSM - When have the Market closes for the season, how will you spend your Saturdays?
OLLL - I will spend my Sat. with my Husband and 2 young children and continue to sell my products off my Main web site- www.Oohlalalamour.com as well ETSY site for shipping throughout the USA & Canada. All Local Orders can be shipped Free of charge.
MSM - Do you have a quote to share about you or your business?
OLLL - "FEED YOUR SKIN", as we feed ourselves from the inside out we should feed ourselves from the outside in. Our skin is our Biggest Organ, 60% of what we apply goes directly into our bloodstream!!
MSM - What makes your business unique?
OLLL - I Grow, Infuse, Blend, Bottle & Label all my products. I strive to come up with Unique recipes using Food Quality Ingredients that will smell, taste and be Good for your skin & Health. And Safe for the Whole Family.
Amish Family Recipes - Jerry Grover, Owner
MSM - How long have you been in business?
AFR - Since January 2012
MSM - What made you start your business / why is it your passion?
AFR - Lost my job due to an accident at work back in 2009 so I needed another income so after searching for a job and something to do, I decided this could develop into a nice business with a little time and effort selling a great tasting and good variety of products from the Lancaster PA, Amish Country.
MSM - Do you have family that works / supports you in your business?
AFR - My wife helps when needed packing items for our customers.
MSM - When have the Market closes for the season, how will you spend your Saturdays?
AFR - I will still be looking for ways to keep business growing but may take a few small weekend relaxing trips.
MSM - Do you have a quote to share about you or your business?
AFR - Great Items at Reasonable Prices "Amish Family Recipes"
MSM - What makes your business unique?
AFR - They are all Old Amish Family Recipes handed down for years by 2 families.
