At it's annual meeting the Hackettstown Business Improvement District announced the results of it's recent Board Election. For 2013, the board welcomed new board member Christopher Heil of Black River Electric. In addition they also re-elected members Keith DeTombeur - Stella G's Property Owner, Jose Salazar - New Image Marble & Granite, Scott Lemperle - Main Street Ice Cream, Stewart Ginsberg - Home Towne Hardware to the Board.
The meeting also held Executive Board elections, where Keith DeTombeur was re-elected as President, Claudia Conway - Vice President, Nancy Paffendorf - Treasurer and Peter Trusio - Secretary.
The Business Improvement District Board holds monthly meetings which are open to the public to discuss the programs it offers as well as events, business recruitment & retention and business relations. Along with BID Executive Director Jim Sheldon, the board works year-long to create a welcoming and successful business environment.
