The Messenger of Hackettstown makes its debut with the September, 2010 issue. The Messenger is your place to read about community events, school news, local business news, health news. Nonprofit organizations can list their events in the community calendar section and submit other news for publication.

The Messenger of Hackettstown is mailed monthly to approximately 6,000 homes and businesses in the Hackettstown area. In addition to subscribers, the Messenger goes free to businesses, contributors, municipal and county governments, and a varying group of residents. To be assured of receiving it every month, residents may subscribe for $15 per year. For first- class mailing, subscriptions cost $25.
