As the nice weather is upon us, the Hackettstown BID is starting its annual Downtown Farmer's Market on Monday, June 21st from 2pm - 7pm.
June 21st - October 25th Every Monday from 2pm to 7pm At the Municipal Parking Lot on Main Street and Moore, behind Stella G's Restaurant.
David Rucki, Executive Director of the BID states "we are pleased with the success of our first market last year and are excited to bring back the market in 2010". Rucki feels confident that as word spreads, area residents will appreciate the availability of fresh produce on Mondays, "The big change this year is the market will run later in the day, 2pm-7pm, which hopefully gives everyone, including those that work, an opportunity to shop at our market."

Products that will be available are a full variety of fruits and vegetables, USDA meats, fresh eggs, herbs, cut flowers, bedding plants, fresh baked pies, fair trade items such as organic coffees, rice products, dried soups and salsa, and plenty of baked goods.
