Hackettstown BID Announces 2009 Director Award Winners
230 votes were cast by area residents for the best food establishment, best retail store and best service or professional business in Hackettstown from November 6 through December 1, 2009. The winners were announced during the December 4th Home Town Holiday event and the BID would like to send a big CONGRATULATIONS to:
Best Food Establishment: Carlena's Restaurant
Best Retail Store: Home Towne Hardware
Best Service Business: Sun Dial Tanning
Each winning business received a plaque and BID Bucks, which are gift certificates that can be spent in Hackettstown BID Businesses.
The Director Awards were conducted online via the BID website and area residents simply logged on and posted their choices.
Special Recognition Award were also presented to the Hackettstown Fire Department, the Hackettstown Police Department, and the Hackettstown DPW. They have gone above and beyond in their roles in 2009 BID programming, initiatives, and events.
The Hackettstown BID is proud of the relationship that it's established with these entities. It is a reflection of just how productive our town has become and how great the potential is for the future.
