HACKETTSTOWN RECREATION COMMISSION “DECK THE HOUSE” CONTEST

The Hackettstown Recreation Commission announced at their November meeting plans to host ,once again, "Deck the House" competition for the Holidays.

Commission members will be looking for homes and businesses in Hackettstown which display the most original and festive outdoor decorations for the up coming season. Commission Members will begin canvassing the community on Friday December 18 thru Sunday December 20 between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and
9:00 p.m. They will select five (5) winners from the four (4) corners of Hackettstown, as well as the Main Street area. Winners will be notified and then will receive an award certificate from the Mayor and Council at a January meeting of the Hackettstown Council. The purpose of the contest is to encourage residents and business owners to light up Hackettstown in the spirit of the holiday and to promote:
"PEACE ON EARTH AND GOOD WILL TOWARDS ALL"
