HACKETTSTOWN HOLDS FORUM ON DOWNTOWN STREETSCAPE PROJECT

The town of Hackettstown will be hosting a public information forum at 7pm on November 17th in the Cafeteria of Hackettstown High School.

The town has received a grant in the amount of $631,000 dollars from the New Jersey Department of Transportation through their Transportation Enhancement Program to help fund this improvement project.

The forum is being held to discuss the plans for sidewalk and streetscape improvement on Main Street between Valentine St. and Plane St. Included in these improvements will be curbing, sidewalks, driveways, handicap ramps, street trees, decorative pedestrian lighting, and restoration.

The public forum is being held in conjunction with the Town of Hackettstown and the Hackettstown Business Improvement District. For more information on this event please call (908) 850-5004.
